This article was about a lady who was diagnosed with a disease called Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. There was an atrophy in her lung condition even after quiting smoking for ten years. This condition is the 4th leading cause of death and in 2020 it is due to reach its pinnacle yet and move up to the 3rd leading cause of deaths. The FDA has not found a scrupulous way to treat this disease however there are currently treatments for it. It is hard to be divisive when figuring out that someone has this disease because often times it is misdiagnosed as asthma therefore people end up thinking their problems aren't that bad when really the results were fabricated. If you are misdiagnosed it can be a conniving pain because it can take over and your life will fade away. This is why we must find cures for this disease and diagnose people correctly.
