For this election we had to do a lot of research to get to know our candidates and opponents. During this experience I learned about the republics points of views on health care and how a lot of the U.S. is suffering right now. I found that while researching I learned a lot about health care and some of the ways we could improve but I also realized that the material is really hard to understand. I found that because the candidates try to elaborate on their ideas so that average people can't understand them but still make them vote for those ideas.
I found that the most interesting piece of information that I learned was that 15.9% of Americans are uninsured. That shows that we aren't able to provide health care to the future leaders of the U.S. which means that eventually that percentage will go up.
I found that I agreed with some of the opinions on health care as my candidate but many which I disagreed with. I agree that we should try to move toward the 21st century style of health care more because it would make us want to innovate more ideas that would make our health care systems better using the new technology. If we bring health care into the 21st century that means that we have a better chance for finding new cures and vaccinations for diseases.
One of the other issues that I was interested in from the debate was global warming/energy. I found that that was a very important issue because that could determine many things having to do with the health and longevity of the country and the world. So I would like to look more into how the candidates plan on helping these issues.
