Malian Women

This is wrong!! I don't think that striving to be whiter is a smart thing to do. Becoming pallid or striving for it is not worth the risks of cancer and disease. I think that this article was very mesmeric because it was just shocking to hear that people actually do that. Apparently to the Malian men bleaching your skin is salacious because it makes you more beautiful. However, in the process of doing it the women were probably not jovial because the bleach burns! For the poorer women bleaching was less salubrious because they would have more of a chance of developing cancers from the cheaper products. They didn't care though because they thought that the bleach would embellish their overall appearance.
